The Wedding of Emilia Rose Chick and Juozas Domarkas

How We Met

Like all good stories, our started in the pub. We were both invited to a pub quiz by our friend Tom, and Wednesday night trivia and the pool table the Bear and Staff became a regular thing. A few weeks later Juozas plucked up the courage to ask Millie out for coffee on the university campus, and she walked into her next lecture saying 'I think I've just been on a date..?'. A few more shared coffees, study sessions, and one F1 Grand Prix watch-along later, we started dating.

Fast-forward three years, and we proposed to each other on the arboretum at Kew Gardens. We started our story 5 years ago, and now we're both (nearly) out of university, slightly better at the music round, and ready to share the start of our new chapter with you!

We appreciate any expression of your generosity. Though, if you would like to give a gift, we ask for a contribution to our house deposit fund to help us begin our new life together.

Schedule

The Ceremony begins at 3pm, so please arrive no later than 2:30pm. The evening reception will begin at 7pm. Carriages at midnight.

Venue

Our beautiful venue is Grafton Manor, and it's steeped in stories of nobles, scandals, love affairs, duels, and even the gunpowder plot. The oldest part of the building was built in 1742 after a fire destroyed much of the old manor in 1710. Now it is owned and run by the Morris Family, and their work, care and craftsmanship can be seen throughout the manor.
